Carl's crew
S ince our last newsletter, Carl's crew completed Pern's Corner and did test pits with the vacuum unit on Route 1 in Stafford. They have also helped fuse 10,000 feet of bypass pumping pipe on the Massaponax Interceptor job. In addition they did some rock drilling in Powhatan and also drilled for a grinder pump at the King George Administrative Complex. Carl's crew has recently completed a drill in front of Battlefield Elementary School, on Leavells Road, and then under Salem Church Road and Hazel Run. The job will reduce flow from the Massaponax system by diversion into Fredericksburg's sanitary system. Carl's crew has finished up the tie-ins and is getting ready to head over to the Massaponax Creek Washout job where they are going to place rock along the bank to prevent further erosion around an existing sewer line. We appreciate Carl's crew's hard work!
