J
immy's crew has completed the Claiborne Run job and we congratulate them for
completing a particularly tough job. Jimmy's crew has since moved to the Massaponax
Interceptor Phase 2. This is a massive emergency sanitary sewer project for
Spotsylvania County. The job has been split into two phases. The first phase, 2A,
has over 17,900 feet of 36” sewer from Benchmark Road to I-95. The second phase, 2B,
goes under I-95, under Route 1, up through South Point II and on to Leavells Road.
Phase 2B consists of 2,500 feet of 36” gravity sewer and 7,800 feet of 30” gravity
sewer. Jimmy's crew has completed a third of this phase, having already installed
roughly 3,500 linear feet of 30” gravity sewer and about 15 manholes. Keep up the
great job Jimmy!

L
ee's crew has finished up the Maury School job. They then mobilized to the Regional
Fire Academy. There, they installed the water main needed for firefighting exercises
as well as all of the storm water management facilities on site. Lee's crew started
our work on the Replace Rifle Butts Pump Station job. The Navy is decommissioning
one of the pump stations in the Quantico Marine Base and we're going to replace it.
The job includes a pump control building, SCADA system, and a large diesel generator
along with the thirty foot deep wet well and grinder pumps. Sonny has also brought in
Lee's crew to work on Phase 2B of the Massaponax Interceptor job in hopes of meeting
the emergency schedule. They have jumped in with both feet and are gaining every day.
Lee's crew is doing a heckuva good job!
