D.D. and crew have finished major earthwork operations at the building in Quantico. They moved over 40,000 cubic yards of earth in Quantico. They are now at Lansberry Park, where they have cut out 1,800 linear feet of road and have moved roughly 20,000 cubic yards of earth to do it. D.D.'s crew will take a brief break from Lansberry Park to go down to Lake Landor and finish the second half the Lake Landor Dam Repair. When they're finished they will return to Lansberry to finish up the fine grading. We expect only great things from D.D. and his crew and they always deliver.
After finishing up all the utilities at Hochmuth Hall, a monumental accomplishment, Dave's crew has headed over to Shellfield Shores. Dave's crew is almost finished with 3,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer and the 2,000 linear feet of waterline. They will then install a pump station and have to run a few thousand feet of 6" waterline and 4" sanitary sewer force main down along Route 205, all the way past Wilkerson's Restaurant. Joe Hoyt and Pete have opted to drill most of this line instead of open cutting, good thinking! Dave and his crew are doing a fine job, in some tough conditions!
