Dahlgren Effluent Force Main
Having finished Spotsy High School #16 Offsite Waterline, Sonny's crew made their way out east to Dahlgren. There they are installing an effluent force main from the wastewater treatment plant to Machodoc Creek. Hank's crew dodged traffic by working nights to lay the water and sewer lines on the edge of Dahlgren Road. They are nearly finished the water and about two thirds of the way done on the force main. Currently they are directional drilling the last 4,800 linear feet of 12" force main pipe under Potomac Drive to tie into the diffuser line extending out into the creek. Sonny and his crew have risen to the task and mastered a completely new way of work. A big shout of thanks goes out to Hanks and his crew for their dedication and hard work in Dahlgren!

Single Oak Estates

Dahlgren Effluent Force Main Directional Drilling Machine
After D.D.'s crew completed Single Oak Estates, where they moved over 40,000 cubic yards of earth for a recreational pond, and their work at Mary Washington Hospital Parking Lot L, they took a break from road work to go out to Douglas Slope Repair and install some gabion baskets where the Rappahannock River had eaten into the riverbank. They also installed some gravel beds at the Lake Landor private community down in Thornburg. After that, they went to Quantico to build an access road to a new building. D.D. and crew are now currently working at that new building where they have another 40,000 cubic yards of earth to move. This crew sure is good at digging things up, keep up the good work!
