MCB2 Overlay and Repair Roads

We would like to welcome Dave Taft to W.C. Spratt. Dave has been working steadily up at J-651; MCB 2, MCB 3 & Camp Barrett Repair and Overlay Roads. Dave's crew is currently working on MCB 2 and has completed almost a mile of road. The rehabilitation consists of the removal and replacement of over 8,000 SF of 8” thick concrete pavement, sub-base prep and dowelling into the existing concrete. Dave has kept on schedule, despite some obstacles. Keep up your great work!

MCB2 Overlay and Repair Roads

Sonny and crew worked briefly on the sanitary sewer at J-631; VDOT H-91.Hopefully that job will be wrapped up in a few months. Meanwhile, Sonny's crew is at J-671; Woodleigh Subdivision laying pipe. The crew was “in their element” on this job as they kept putting pipe in the ground, in a hurry! They have made great progress and have nearly completed the sanitary sewer and storm sewer at Woodleigh. Sonny is now back to J-631 for one of the job's toughest runs, to lay the 48” sanitary before heading back over to J-660; VDOT K92 to catch up on things there. Sonny has been and will be very busy! Hats off to Sonny's crew!
