Jimmy Shifflett's crew has completed J-672; Smith Lake Waterline. They laid 24" DIP water main at the future Smith Lake Park. They persevered despite very wet and soggy conditions. Jimmy's crew is currently at J-673; Marywood Subdivision. There, they are removing and replacing concrete storm pipe that was not installed properly by the previous contractor. When they are done at Marywood they will go to J-670; Hochmuth Hall in Quantico for a more "challenging" storm sewer upgrade. Great work guys!

DeDe and crew have been very busy. They spent some time out at J-651; MCB 2, MCB 3 & Camp Barrett. After MCB 2 they went to J-643; Geiger Slope and completed the redesigned slope repair. Dirt was trucked in as DeDe carefully worked it back up on the slope and then put coconut fabric over the hill to slow future erosion. After a very successful emergency job in Maryland, J-681; Carderock Test Pit, they returned to J-671; Woodleigh Subdivision and have completed the clearing and stripping operations and are about 90% complete with the bulk dirt moving.
