Lake of the Woods

Richard’s crew is still plugging away at the Lake of the Woods (J-659). They are nearly finished with about two thousand more feet to go! That means they have laid over twelve and a half thousand feet of water line. Despite rock, underground utilities, and bad markings Richard’s crew has still managing to come in under budget. They are doing a great job and should be finished by Thanksgiving. Richard’s crew also went up to (J-645) Route 234 to adjust some manholes and valve boxes. They will need to return again later to complete the water tie-ins and finish up the job. Keep up the good work Richard!

Lake of the Woods

Jeff Lish’s crew has nearly finished the Physical Fitness Center (J-655). They moved about six thousand cubic yards of dirt, hauling a lot off because of the undercut. They also demolished the old building and parking lot. From there they went to the MCAF (that’s Marine Corps Air Field) Fire Station (J-669). Where they helped De De’s crew with some of the dirt. The crew is currently laying the two-inch sanitary force main on the airfield. As of this writing they are about three quarters of the way done. Jeff deserves much recognition for his great work on all the Quantico jobs!
