Jimmy’s crew worked hard and busted out the Hickory Ridge waterline on time and under budget. J-661 for Spotsylvania County went smoothly, and Jimmy is currently working on an amendment for this contract. The amendment adds another 2,000 linear feet of 6 inch ductile iron pipe along Heatherstone Road. They also spent some time at Lake of the Woods helping out Richard’s crew. After that we expect Jimmy will make a stop at VDOT K-92, before going to VDOT A-56; Leavels Road Expansion.
Jeff Lish’s crew is brand new to W.C. Spratt, Inc. They have been working on J-651; Repair and Overlay Roads: MCB-2, MCB-3, and Camp Barrett. This job is in the Quantico Marine Corps base. They are repairing the joints and cracks in the concrete under the asphalt on MCB-2. MCB-2 is the name of the road, and for those of you who are wondering, it stands for Marine Corps Base 2. Jeff’s crew also put in some sheet piling at the Storage 2000 Job, J-662, off Exit 143 on I-95.
