Richard Shifflett's gang have moved from Hilldrup (639) after
putting in the water line, sanitary sewer, and most of the storm drainage.
Now, Richard's crew is rolling on the Fredericksburg Industrial Park (641).
They are way ahead of schedule and are almost done on Tyler Street. They
also popped over and helped out on the waterline at the Virginia Boating
Center (635). What can we say, but keep up the excellent work! Joe Bailey
was low by less than 5 percent on his bid recently for a big job in Culpeper.
We know the Shifflett's will be in a hurry to finish work in Fredericksburg to
start this one! |

Tinker Newton's crew has worked hard finishing all of the
major earthwork at the Quantico Athletic Fields (634). The fields are now
ready for sod and infield mix. Tinker and crew have now moved back over
to the Quantico Landfill (586). With an average of fifteen trucks hauling dirt,
they have finished the cover layer, and are nearly done spreading the
topsoil. Hats off to Tinker and everyone else who have worked with the very
aggressive schedule. The end of that schedule, thanks to all the great effort,
is now in sight. The Landfill will be complete by the middle of August. Thanks
again for all the hard work towards keeping this job ahead of schedule!
