Doug Tait
President
Employed with W. C. Spratt, Inc. since 1984, D. Douglas Tait
became President in 1992. Doug is a graduate of Virginia Tech and holds a degree in Civil
Engineering as well as an EIT Certificate. With over 20 years experience Doug has the
knowledge and personal commitment to continue our goal of delivering quality
projects ahead of schedule.

Susan Tait
Corporate Secretary
Since 1992, Susan has worked relentlessly to maintain and improve W.C. Spratt's reputation as an
industry leader. She is in charge of accounting, banking, insurance, all administrative functions,
HR, our ESOP, and many other corporate tasks. Her management of company policy and exacting
attention to detail continue to strengthen all our relationships and further growth and stability.

Joe Bailey
Project Manager
Joe Bailey has been with W.C. Spratt since 1999. Joe has over 20 years experience
in heavy construction. His background originated in housing construction, which
eventually led to a position as Vice-President of a multi-million-construction development
company. His experience includes field construction, project management and internal cost tracking.

Pete Strychowskyj
Project Manager
Employed with W.C. Spratt, Inc. in 2003, Pete Strychowskyj has over 30 years experience in engineering
and construction management, with a specialization in cutting-edge trenchless technology. His
background includes setting design standards and replacing sewer and water lines using a hydraulic
trenchless process in Calgary. He is a published author whose work has appeared in the journals of
the American Society of Civil Engineering, the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering and other
professional publications.

Sonny Hanks
Superintendent
Sonny has over 26 years experience and began working for W.C. Spratt in the early 80's. Hanks has
a wealth of experience in underground utilities and site-work companies in VA, MD, WV. Sonny is an
accomplished equipment operator versed on all pieces within the company. His leadership and attention
to job objectives continue to bring customer praise.

Ed Gregory
Superintendent
Ed Gregory has over 30 years management/supervisory experience in a broad range of construction
with a large portion in utility and site work. Projects include large commercial, utility plant,
residential site, municipal, DOT and COE. With his broad base of experience, Ed is a valuable
addition to this company’s management team. Mr. Gregory has quickly become acclimated to
this company’s employees, equipment and most importantly, reputation. His management diversity
will enable continued company growth through use of efficient construction techniques and
personnel management.
